Leonard is preparing for concerts with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra January 14-15 in Suntory Hall. The program includes Cindy McTee’s Adagio for Strings, Walton’s Violin Concerto with soloist Mayumi Kanagawa, and Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2.  Later this week, he will travel with the orchestra to Kagoshima to present a concert in Kawasho Hall with a program featuring Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor with soloist Shinya Kiyozuka and Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2. His next appearances are with the Osaka Philharmonic January 23-24 and the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra January 31.
